Populations of Anaerobic Organisms

Most beneficial soil organisms are aerobic (need oxygen). Anaerobic conditions (without oxygen) have a negative effect on plant roots and beneficial soil organisms. The investigators will determine the presence of ciliated protozoa (indicators of anaerobic conditions).

This protocol may require >1 day in field or instruments left >1 day.
